An Evening in Charlottesville to Support Mothers Out Front
Please join us to learn more about the work of Mothers Out Front in Virginia!
Virginia's coastline and cities are already experiencing the impacts of climate change in the form of extreme weather, longer and more intense heatwaves, heavier rainfall, and intense flooding, especially at high tide. Rising seas in the area of Hampton Roads, for example, is already closing roads, impacting infrastructure, and changing the lives of residents. Unfortunately, state and local governments still lag far behind many other states in implementing progressive climate policies.
Mothers Out Front is expanding its efforts in the state to support the growing number of mothers, grandmothers and others organizing for clean air and water and a healthy planet for all children.
We look forward to sharing our story with you!
