NY - Keene Valley - Lac Megantic Vigil

Dear friends and neighbors,
We are asking 10 minutes of your time to memorialize 47 lives lost when an oil train derailed and exploded in the small Quebec town of Lac-Mégantic.
Be one of 47 people to hold a candle in quiet vigil. Each candle will bear the name and age of a victim (ages range from 4 years old to 93).
These same explosive oil trains roll through our own Champlain Valley. Schools, playgrounds, family homes, and the Lake Champlain shoreline are in the blast zone.

All are welcome! As part of a national week of action, the ADK Mothers Out Front Keene NY team is collaborating with 350 Plattsburgh, 350 Vermont (Burlington), and other groups across the US and Canada to hold vigils within the proximity of potential oil train derailments that have been mapped as "blast zones" by government safety regulators.

ADK Mothers Out Front.
