MA- Members distribute cooktops in Lawrence

On October 14th, Mothers Out Front members Ania Camargo and Nathan Phillips with Trevor LaFauci from the Merrimack Valley Project, handed out clean efficient induction cooktops and pots to residents who were effected by the Columbia Gas explosions in Merrimack Valley on September 13th. The explosion left more than 8000 people without gas. More than 40 homes caught fire, 1 person was killed and 25 were reported injured.

"Mothers Out Front members and allies are prepared to distribute hundreds of induction cooking stoves to help the victims of the explosion in a course of next few months" said Ania Camargo, "We also want to educate people about induction cookstove and why it is better than gas and its benefit to environment."
