MA - Boston City Council Hearing on GAS LEAKS!
This is it! Imagine a hearing room PACKED with concerned parents, students and informed residents asking why we're letting "natural" gas leaks pollute our city and waste our resources? We can pass this ordinance. We just need to show up; July 12th, 1PM to support each other and the gas leaks ordinance proposed for Boston.
Wear your t-shirt.
Bring your friends.
Support our Boston and Jamaica Plain teams and the mothers who will testify.
Show up for local gas leaks laws. Your team’s next step could be to bring the ordinance to your town or city.
With our allies, our Boston and Jamaica Plain teams are organizing speakers to address all the points in the ordinance and to add the voices of mothers and youth. We’re likely to hear from Rep. Lori Ehrlich, Sen. Jamie Eldridge, Audrey Schulman of HEET, Nathan Philips of BU, Sierra Club, Clean Water Action, and Conservation Law Foundation, as well as advocates for trees and health.
