MA - Mother's Day Walk for Peace - Sunday

We all want to protect our children. What could be more perfect than joining other mothers on Mother’s Day for this annual walk against the violence that threatens our children? Join other Mothers Out Front families at this wonderful morning event.

Directions: Google 1520 Dorchester Ave in Boston. You'll see Town Field nearby, also called Fields Corner’s Doherty Gibson Park. There's a baseball field that borders Dorchester Ave & Park Street. We’ll meet just past first base on the baseball field on the Park St side. If first base is unavailable, proceed back up the first base line toward the backstop. We'll connect somewhere along there. Look for the Mothers Out Front banner and keep this contact number handy in case of changes:  Pattie Heymann, 617-407-5786.

“I've been going to the Mother's Day Walk for Peace for years, first with friends and co-workers, then with my family and my church. I stepped up my attendance after Trayvon Martin's death. I had lots of company. Lately, there are so many allies that I wish I could walk with half a dozen groups. It lifts my heart and spirit so much. Please join us. Let's see what we can do together.” - Claire Humphrey, Mother Out Front in Jamaica Plain
