NY - Community Forum on the Toxic Site in Southside Elmira

In conjunction with the Poor People's Campaign, Mothers Out Front is hosting a community event on the toxic contamination at Elmira HS and the surrounding neighborhood. We will provide some context for this community issue in the broader context of poverty, race, and environmental justice.

We will feature a short video by community member Becca Forsyth. Mothers Out Front community organizers, Lisa Marshall and Tara Escudero will facilitate a conversation about how to develop an effective and strategic community campaign.

We demand 100 percent clean, renewable energy and a just transition from fossil fuels to a green economy.
