While we are focused on protecting our families and our communities during the COVID-19 public health crisis, the Environmental Protection Agency is doing anything but protecting us from emissions or industrial pollution.

In the past month alone,  

March 26 - The EPA announces it will waive enforcement indefinitely of many of it's health and environmental regulations to "offer relief to companies."  You can read their press release here.

March 27 - EPA Temporary Waiver on Summer Low-Volatility Gas RequirementsWinter-blend gasoline emits more volatile organic compounds, which are precursors of smog, when used in warmer weather.

March 31 - The Administration weakens auto emissions standards, precisely when we are fighting a respiratory illness that has become a pandemic.

April 10 - EPA rolls back air regulations for waste coal plants in western Pa., W.Va.: Mercury rule exemption applies to three plants in Pennsylvania, one in West Virginia

We demand that the EPA not stray from its mission during this trying time. Keep the current standards in place. They protect us all and keep our families healthy and safe.
